ZZ2 is an integrated agricultural company that offers careers through the full value chain supported by a Human Resources Department (HR) that serves the ZZ2 Group of companies. HR functions include personnel administration, recruitment, training, performance management, labour relations, skills development and compliance management.

    Where do I find out about vacancies at ZZ2?

    All our professional and administrative vacancies are advertised on our website (ZZ2.co.za) in local and national newspapers and on online platforms. When a position becomes available, the instructions on how to apply are stated in the advertisement. We do not advertise positions for semi-skilled employees as these positions are filled through networks in local communities and through a process with the Department of Labour.

     Does zz2 offer learnerships? 

    We do offer learnerships which are available to external candidates within our geographical area of operations. Candidates must attend a stringent internal selection process. Learnerships start at the beginning of each year and run a full year and/or until the candidate is sufficiently trained. Some programmes can extend a period longer than 12 months, thus positions are not always available. If you are interested, send an e-mail to talent@zz2.co.za 

    Bursaries are offered to candidates in specific fields of study, relevant to our operational requirements. Our bursary scheme is not a generic scheme. It is focussed on the development of specific skills which are derived from our company’s strategic plan.     The objective of the programme is for female candidates with code 10 driver’s licence to develop essential professional driving skills on a heavy goods vehicle (code 14). During the practical component Learners will be provided with support to attain a Professional Driving Permit, Dangerous Good certification and code 14 driver’s licence. The programme comprises of two components.     • To provide cleaning services to the university community in relation to academic and support areas i.e. maintaining a clean and hygienic environment at the university.
    • To provide an excellent, professional cleaning service to the university students, staff, and visitors.

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

    • Cleaning of Mandela University Buildings / venues including corridors and public /outdoor spaces/areas.
    • General and deep cleaning of floors and surfaces (includes dusting (including high level or vertical dusting)), sweeping/vacuuming, mopping/washing, scrubbing, polishing as well as carpet cleaning.
    • General and deep cleaning of ablution facilities

    • General and Deep Cleaning of kitchens
    • General and Deep Cleaning of outdoor areas
    • Occupational health & safety
    • Collection of keys/swipe cards, cleaning consumables, cleaning equipment and accountability thereof.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    • Grade 8 – 12
    • A minimum of 0 – 12 months experience in a cleaning position within operations or similar environment with a proven record of teamwork.

    • A sound knowledge of cleaning procedures/methods and use of cleaning materials and Equipment
    • A working knowledge of strip and seal procedures so as carpet cleaning

    The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) has made it quite easy for applicants of the R350 grant to track their application by providing them with a tool to check online. 



    How To Check Your Status Online
    Go to the SASSA SRD grant website
    Scroll down to ‘Application status’
    Click on ‘Click here to check online’
    Fill in the required fields
    You should then be able to see the status

    This way applicants can check to see if they have been approved for the grant or whether they do not qualify or should lodge an appeal if they feel like their application has been denied for a reason that they believe is not fair. 


    If your application status is not showing, SASSA has responded to this issue and said, “Remember the application system is now processing millions of applications at once. You will be able to view your current status soon.”

    The applications for the Special SRD grant, more commonly known as the R350 grant .

    Grant was reintroduced to provide financial relief to poor South Africans citizens.

    In order to suport their families with basic needs, while the country battles with the effects of a disaster. 

    All applications will be treated as new applications every month. However, each applicant would only need to apply once for their application to be considered every month.

    The (Sassa) distributes millions of social grants to vulnerable people who require financial assistance. These Sassa grants are used by beneficiaries to purchase necessities and access basic services.

    It distributes 18 million permanent grants to beneficiaries monthly.

    These include :

    Older Persons grantDisability grant,

    War Veterans grant,

    Care Dependency grant,

    Foster Child grant,

    Child Support grant,

    Child Support grant Top-Up and

    Grant-in-aid.

    Individuals who meet the eligibility criteria  are encouraged to submit a grant application online.

    Popular way apply for grants is to visit a Sassa office. Technological advancements mean that people can apply for the grants distributed by Sassa from their own homes.

    People can apply for several of the permanent grants distributed by Sassa using the Sassa online services portal.

    The Sassa services portal is separate from the main Sassa website.

    Applications are for :

    the Child Support Grant,

    Older Persons Grant,

    Disability Grant.

    Follow these 9 steps now :

    1 : Visit the Sassa Services Portal

    2 : Register as a new user

    3 : Log in to the Sassa services portal with your newly created username and password.

    4 : After logging into the site, browse yor suitable grant application.

    5 : Search for i.e

    Older Persons Grant,

    or Child Support Gran, or

    Foster Child Grant.

    6 : Complete the grant application form by entering information in all the required fields

    7 : Print the generated affidavit and have it certified by a Commissioner of Oaths

    8 : Print, sign and submit the Bank Payment form with the affidavit.

    9 : Upload all supporting documents in PDF format as indicated by the application form
