Fisheries and the Environment want applications from interested qualified candidates for a temporary position of Data Capturer for a period of 10 months through EPWP Programme

Requirements

Minimum Grade 12 certificate or equivalerit qualification

Computer iteracy (Microsoft Office, emails, internet, MS Teams and Zoom)

Must be able to work with confidential documents

Knowledge of stock control/management

Knowledge of administrative clerical procedures

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work under extreme pressure

Knowledge of Procurement policies and procedures

Ability to work individually and in team

Sound organising and planning skills

Ability to :

• prioritise workload
• long hours voluntanly.
• gather and analyse information.
• work with difficult persions and to resolve conflict.

Sense of responsibility and loyalty

Report EPWP progress on monthly basis

Render general clerical support services

Record keeping organise, store, capture and retrieve correspondence and data (ine function)

Ensure records and files are properly sorted and secured

Update registers and handle routine enquiries, make photocopies and receive or send emails,

distribute documents/packages to various stakeholders as required

Compiling Weekly reports

Receiving and issuing of goods

Maintain the directorate’s Stock register

Conduct stocktaking of Stock

Identify resource needs for the directorale

Procurement of goods and services using approved procedures

Type letters andior other correspondence
